The Bigga Fishing Club is situated approx. 22klms from Bigga Village and is on the banks of the Lachlan River. The Lachlan river and the Abercrombie river supply the Wyangala Dam with fresh water 2.6 times the size of Sydney Harbour.

The Bigga fishing club is a prime location for trout fishing, natural water falls and camping. The Fishing Club venue is equipped with gas hot water, electricity from a generator you pick up from the Bigga Garage on your way through and a huge open inside fire place for those cosy winter nights.

(please check Bigga Garage for details and becoming a fishing club member, if applicable).

The Lachlan river also is great for fresh water swimming and water skiing and skiing is available from the Wyangala Recreational Park a few minuets away.

Wyangala Recreation Park is a huge camping area you can pitch a tent or hire caravans and or your private log cabins, depending on your requirements.

However, if you would like more privacy and like to rough it in your own tent, you can camp on the water's edge of the Lachlan river and Wyangala dam on Stream - Ville Road and enjoy the nature, silence of the wild life around you 24 x 7. Clear skies, millions of stars and wild life feeding day and night on land or in the water. It is a true experience you will never forget and enjoy fully.
